Today Mercedes-Benz made the credit of launching a new outlet in Kanpur. This new venture of dealership is called Smart Hoops Kanpur. This facility was inaugurated by Boris Fitz, Vice-President, Sales and Network Development, Mercedes-Benz India, and Neeraj Agarwal, Managing Director, SRM Smart Hoops Pvt. Ltd. This is the Three Pointed Star’s eighth outlet to be inaugurated in 2014.
Speaking on this great auspicious occasion, Fitz, said, “Mercedes-Benz India is committed to the Indian market and inauguration of a new dealership in Kanpur underlines this commitment. We are creating a benchmark in modern luxury across markets and our first-ever outlet in Kanpur is a reiteration of our pledge of extending the luxury automotive experience to the growing customer base in emerging markets.
Built over a period of 11 months with an investment of Rs 2.5 crore, this new dealership sprawls a good 4,000 sq ft. This new outlet provides its patrons with facilities such as a luxurious customer lounge, Cafe Mercedes and a video wall as well along with 11 cars on display.
Mercedes-Benz dealership in Kanpur draws attention to the fact that luxury carmakers are now expanding aggressively into non-metro centers to grow their sales. The automaker has set up 67 showrooms across the country and has inaugurated eight new dealerships during 2014.
